NEW Partnership with Dorset Tea!
The donation from Dorset Tea will help fund our vital services throughout the year, alongside providing tea and support for key fundraising events and initiatives.
Nick Rowe, Corporate and Major Donor Fundraiser, says: “We are delighted to be partnering with Dorset Tea for 2025. A cup of tea brings comfort, warmth, and emotional grounding, often in challenging situations – we are very grateful for both the vital funds, and of course the tea – supporting our services, events, volunteers and individuals throughout 2025.”
Lauren Forecast, Brand Manager or Dorset Tea, says of the partnership: “We are thrilled to be supporting Dorset Mind, a local charity making a real difference in our community. Their tireless efforts to provide mental health support and open conversations are vital, and we’re proud to help – with both funding and, of course, tea!”
With ‘Time to Talk Day’ on February 6th, we are urging people to open up about mental health. Nick Rowe says: “Text a friend, chat to a colleague over a cuppa, go for a walk with a loved one, or share something on social media – there’s no right or wrong way to check in with someone on Time to Talk Day.” https://timetotalkday.co.uk/
As mental health concerns continue to rise, this partnership between Dorset Tea and Dorset Mind serves as a reminder that sometimes, the simplest gestures – like sharing a cup of tea – can make a significant difference in someone’s life.
Dorset Tea is encouraging charities and local causes to get in touch as part of its ongoing ‘Communi-Tea’ initiative. Email chat@dorsettea.co.uk to find out more.
