We are Dorset Mind; a pioneering local charity that has been supporting local people with mental health challenges since 1946.
We educate, challenge mental health stigma and inequality, and promote recovery by empowering individuals to develop resilience.
Our 1-2-1 and group support services help people regain social skills, confidence and self-esteem. We also deliver educational
wellbeing programmes for schools and workplaces and provide volunteer opportunities across all areas of our organisation.

We are here to listen, to support and to help you. We deliver a range of one-to-one support, including Active Monitoring (CBT-coaching), Befriending, Counselling and Mentoring.
We offer peer-support talking groups, activity-based groups and social prescription gardening groups.

Our professional Mentoring Minds Service provides one-to-one support across Dorset via telephone or online. Mentors help people develop positive mental wellbeing and reduce isolation.
Our Eco in Mind wellbeing service supports people to develop positive mental health through gardening at allotments in Dorset.
‘Dorset Mind Your Head’ (‘DMYH’) is a Dorset-wide programme that aims to help young people, parents and teachers to be as mentally healthy as possible.
