Coronavirus update:
At Dorset Mind, we’re taking the Coronavirus pandemic incredibly seriously and know that it has caused
high levels of anxiety amongst the public and our own staff, volunteers and participants.
Our existing services have all been replaced by telephone or video meetings until further notice.
See here for our timetable of support, some times have changed.
Please DO NOT attend any groups or 1-2-1 support in person, unless you’ve been directed to.
** Please note our phones are not being constantly manned, but we are able to pick up messages during our phased return.
Alternately, please email us while we are working from home**
Dorset Mind Works offer a programme of support for workplaces that can be delivered online.
We shape futures and change lives
We are Dorset Mind; a pioneering local charity that has been supporting local people with mental health challenges since 1946.
We educate, challenge mental health stigma and inequality, and promote recovery by empowering individuals to develop resilience.
Our 1-2-1 and group support services help people regain social skills, confidence and self-esteem. We also deliver educational
wellbeing programmes for schools and workplaces and provide volunteer opportunities across all areas of our organisation.
Please note we are not a crisis service.
