How to get involved:
Fundraise for us
Every year we help over 22,000 people in Dorset with their mental health by providing a range of vital support services for adults and young people. Rest assured, your donation will stay within Dorset to benefit local people who need help with their mental health challenges.
Volunteer with us
Dorset Mind volunteers help us deliver our mental health support services across our vast county in a variety of roles across the charity. We offer voluntary positions that suit the times you’re able to commit – and your level of experience.
Work with us
Are you passionate about making mental health matter? Do you want to work in an environment where you can bring your whole self to work and know you will be supported? We’d love to hear from you!
Partner with us
We are growing fast and have the privilege of working with an increasing number of wonderful people and local businesses – our community partners – who want to support our cause.
Sponsor us
Even though we are part of the Mind network, Dorset Mind is independently funded and relies on local fundraising and donations to continue to support the people of Dorset. Sponsorship is just another way to help us.
Have your say
We want people with an experience of mental health conditions to drive everything that we do as a charity. With your experience and expertise, we can deliver high-quality and inclusive support for our communities.
Leave a Legacy
Donating or raising money in memory of a loved one, or leaving a gift in your ‘Will’, can help us to continue the work that we do to promote good mental health and improve the lives of those affected by mental health issues in Dorset.
Tell us Your Story
Telling your story is very powerful – not only does it give those with lived experience a platform to have their voice heard, it busts any stigma surround mental health conditions and could help someone reading feel less alone.
Mind Shops in Dorset
The money raised from our sales helps to support people in your local community through: National campaigning, providing information and support through our helplines, website and publications and your Local Mind (Dorset Mind).
