Choose your challenge
Discover Adventure run trips and treks all over the world. Here are just some of the challenges you can take on in aid of Dorset Mind.
Jurassic Coast Weekend
The Jurassic Coast – England’s first Natural World Heritage Site – is the most geologically diverse coastline in the world! Our weekend fundraising challenge takes in some of this famous coastline’s most spectacular scenery, as we trek over 22 hilly miles from Durlston Head all the way to the renowned and strikingly-beautiful Lulworth Cove, finishing above the equally-impressive, natural stone archway of Durdle Door.
London To Paris Cycle
Cycling from London to Paris is one of the great cycle experiences in Europe, and a classic fundraising challenge. Passing through picturesque Kent countryside, we cross the Channel and continue through the small villages and medieval market towns of Northern France. The sight of the Eiffel Tower, our finishing point after approximately 300 miles, will evoke a real sense of achievement.
Inca Trail To Machu Picchu
Machu Picchu is one of the most iconic sights in South America, and the culmination of our magnificent Inca Trail trek through the Peruvian Andes. Join us on this breathtakingly
beautiful route through valleys and high passes scattered with fascinating Inca ruins, and raise vital funds with each step.
Discover Adventure FAQs
Your registration fee and fundraising target will depend on the challenge you choose. All prices and payment options for each challenge are clearly outlined on the Discover Adventure website.
Each challenge has a non-refundable registration fee, which you’ll pay upfront to Discover Adventure. Once registered, you’ll then start working towards your fundraising target. 80% of your target must be paid to us 10 weeks before your challenge date, and the remaining 20% within 2 weeks after.
50% of your total fundraising target (and 100% of anything you raise above the target!) goes directly to us, supporting the mental health services we provide here in Dorset. The other 50% covers your trip costs.
There are part-payment and full-payment options available if you’d prefer to contribute to more of your trip costs, which will lower your fundraising target. More information on Discover Adventure pricing can be found on their website.
Yes, Discover Adventure operate over 70 challenges across four continents! The challenges we’ve advertised on this page are just a small section of the incredible adventures on offer. You can fundraise for Dorset Mind on any Discover Adventure challenge.
