We are Dorset Mind; we’re a pioneering local charity that educates, challenges mental health stigma and inequality, and promotes recovery by empowering individuals to develop resilience. Our 1-2-1 and group support, that includes counselling and our accredited befriending service, help adults and young people recover from and maintain their mental health.
We also deliver educational wellbeing programmes for schools and workplaces and provide volunteer opportunities across all areas of the organisation.
We are part of a network of 125 local Minds in England and Wales.
