How you can sponsor us:
Face-to-face training is powerful. Learning with our expert trainers that all have lived experience of mental health takes learning to a new level.
Share this with people in your community by sponsoring a training session that we can deliver in person.
If this appeals to you, get in touch with our Training Team via our Contact Form, which you’ll find here.
Our educational conferences are gaining huge attention. They focus on an area of mental health that people are currently asking us about – they want to learn more. Previous topics include how to have a courageous conversation with people about suicide, and PTSD and trauma.
We invite notable guest speakers and our expert trainers to deliver interactive, informative sessions – that always provoke thought and give a ‘takeaway’ for our audience.
Sponsoring a conference ensures we will mention you every time we promote it online, and any press releases we issue. You’ll also be named and personally thanked on the day of the conference.

Dorset Mind is not a crisis service… but we are able to help those on the front line access expert mental health training that includes Mental Health First Aid (MHFA).
By sponsoring training for key workers and those working in non-profit organisations like ours, your donation will help equip people to continue making a huge difference to the people they support.
This support is essential to help dedicated front line staff avoid burnout – we’re seeing this more and more in local charities we work with. We’ve trained Citizens Advice, Age UK, several Food Banks, Citygate Church and Pramacare.
For the past two years, we’ve run a Christmas Tree Recycle fundraiser in BCP that helps collect and recycle unwanted trees after the Christmas season has passed.
We’ve done this in partnership with Maidmans Moving and Storage who generously donated vans and staff to help us and Upton Specialised Tree Services who helped recycle the trees.
Can you help us expand this initiative even further across Dorset? If so, please get in in touch via our Contact Form, selecting Fundraising and Events.
As a charity, we’re extremely conscious about how we spend donations.
This past year, we’ve noticed that people we meet or speak to have more extreme and complex issues – which might need specialist training.
Your support can help ensure our staff and volunteers have the training they need to better support people in Dorset.
We produce local information and signposting booklets that includes our support – and details of key services delivered by other organisations. We group them by subject, so that it’s quick and easy for someone who is in need to find what they’re looking for.
We keep our print run limited as details change frequently.
Why do we print booklets?
- Because not everyone is able to go online or might struggle to find what they need.
- People might want to find out information for a friend or family member they’re supporting.
- We also take them to events as they’re great tools to open up a conversation about mental health.
You can sponsor our support services for adults or young people – or make a generous contribution towards them.
We always need equipment, seeds and tools at Eco in Mind at various locations across Dorset – or you could sponsor a talking therapy group or block of 1-2-1 sessions that can help someone recover from trauma and regain their confidence.

Thanks to our sponsors…

We are growing fast and have the privilege of working with an increasing number of wonderful people and local businesses – our corporate partners – who want to support our cause.
As an affiliate of a recognisable national brand, we are experts in our field of mental health. But as an independent local charity, we also ensure that your donations remain within Dorset and benefit local people.
