Dorset Plane Pull

Why not challenge yourself, your friends, family or colleagues, to pull a Boeing 737 fifty metres by your team of 20 people at Bournemouth Airport?
The plane weighs in at a whopping 35,000kg!
This fun event sets itself apart from other fundraising endeavours as the ultimate tug-of-war – with a competitive edge as teams compete against each other. It also encourages team building as you work together to pull the plane in the shortest time.

Fundraising Information
There is a fundraising target of just £1,000 – that’s just £50 per person!
All you need on the day is your plane-pulling super-heroes, a valid form of ID (Driving Licence or Passport), and a sensible pair of shoes!

Terms & Conditions
- For pullers the minimum age is 14. Any puller between the age of 14 and 16 will need their waiver signed by an appropriate adult.
- As a puller you’re required to bring a pair of suitable shoes (e.g. trainers) and a form of ID (e.g. passport or driving licence)
- There is a fundraising target of just £1,000 for a team of 20 people (that’s £50pp!)
- The event takes place at European Aviation at Bournemouth Airport between 10am and 5.30pm and you will be required to arrive an hour before your pull.

Volunteer for us
Without our volunteers we simply couldn’t do what we do. Our volunteers are the backbone of our charity. Dorset Mind volunteers help us deliver our mental health support services across our vast county in a variety of roles across the charity. We offer voluntary positions that suit the times you’re able to commit – and your level of experience.
