Referral Form

As a charity, unfortunately, we are not in a position to provide free counselling. However, the costs are reduced, and all counselling contributions go directly back into the service.

The initial step is to book the assessment available between 9 and 3 pm on a Tuesday and Wednesday or between 9 and 10 on a Friday morning, at a time that suits you. Please complete the form below to get started, and the Information Officer from Dorset Mind will get in touch with you. The rate for this initial assessment is £20.

Once you have had your assessment with the Counselling Team Leader, they will help you to decide which of our counsellors would be the most appropriate to work with you.

Counselling fees are:

Trainee Student Counsellor - £20 per session

Qualified Counsellor - £30 per session

We won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets both support and respect. We want to know a bit more about you, to understand who we are engaging with our work, and who we need to work harder to reach. We also want to make sure we understand the needs of all the communities we work with. Completing these questions is voluntary, and the information you provide will only be shared anonymously.
