Dr Ros Maycock is a retired GP that previously working in Parkstone, Poole. The practice had had only lady GP’s when she joined in 1983 which was very unusual. Ros also worked for the Poole Commissioning Group (the initial management organisation including GP’s), then the Primary Care Trust as the lead GP in Bournemouth and Poole.
Ros has also worked as a Trustee for Forest Holme hospice in Poole and Care South which provides care, residential and home services. In her spare time, Ros sings in a choir and stays fit by cycling, going to the gym and gardening. Ros’ goal in the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) was to make sure everyone agreed the ‘all health was mental health.’
