We NEED to get our community talking, and we feel passionate about starting those conversations on subjects that may be hard to talk about.
This event is for anyone who may want to learn how to have a conversation with someone who has experienced trauma and where a diagnosis of PTSD may have been made.
Knowing how best to give support to someone in the aftermath of a trauma can be daunting and we will be focusing on a first-aid approach during this conference.
You may want to address those hard conversations with a colleague or with someone who wants to access support but doesn’t know where to begin.
Guided by our expert trainers and guest speakers, educate yourself around the conversation of stigma, trauma, the power of talking and recovery.
All we ask is that you take away small actions from the day, to help provide support for yourself or someone within our local community.
Our Dorset Mind Works team promise to continue spreading awareness and helping to educate individuals, to create a mentally healthy Dorset.
