Fitness and Wellbeing Event

At Dorset Mind we encourage physical exercise to not only improve your physical wellbeing but your mental wellbeing too…

To help you find your perfect exercise, we have organised an Fitness & Wellbeing Event on Friday 31st January. It takes place between 12-2pm at The Bridge Access Dorset, Bournemouth, BH7 7BX.

There will be a range of free taster sessions to take part in including:

  • Full body exercise
  • ZUU (Bodyweight training) from E-Motion Fitness Hub
  • Short and fun team games from Rabble instructor
  • Pranayama/breathing exercise from Serenity Yoga with Claire Karian
  • 1-1 boxercise from an ABA qualified coach from Dorset Mental Health Forum

We’ll also be joined by the following local organisations with stands for additional information including:

– Active Dorset
– HealthWatch Dorset
– LiveWell Dorset
– Dorset Mental Health Forum
– Dorset Healthcare
– Muddy Runners/Poole Muddy Runners
– BH Live
– Dorset Race Equality Council
– YMCA Bournemouth

12pm – Event opens

12:10 – 12:25pm – ZUU taster class from E-Motion Fitness Hub

12:30 – 12:45pm – Serenity Yoga with Claire Karian: Talk and breathing exercises

12:50 – 13:05 – Short, fun team games

13:10 – 13:20 – Boxercise

13:25 – 13:40 – Full body circuit with Lucy Cribb

13:45 – 14:00 – Pilates from Urban Health and Fitness

14:00 – Event Closes
