Course Overview:

This 2-hour session explores Menopause and Mental Health with the aim to increase your awareness of menopause – and to support those who may be struggling in silence.

Expanding your knowledge about this topic will enable you to understand the many different signs and symptoms associated with menopause and the best practices for helping to support others.

We will also explore reasonable adjustments within the workplace to make sure that everyone is receiving the correct support for their mental health.

The course is suitable for:

  • Employers/Employees (all genders) who want to learn more about the menopause and how it impacts people’s lives. The course explores topics including signs and symptoms, the impact of COVID-19, coping strategies, reasonable adjustments within the workplace, and useful resources to help support someone who will be, or is currently living with the menopause.

Session aims:

  • Gain an understanding about what menopause is
  • Look at and identify symptoms – even the ones people are not talking about
  • Explore the mental health challenges of menopause
  • The difficulties of experiencing the menopause during COVID-19 
  • Gain knowledge about support – what is available and how to access it
  • Utilising the good day/bad day tool
