What is Mental Health First Aid Training?
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is nationally recognised training. Employees can undertake it to compliment your company’s overall wellbeing strategy – whether that be in conjunction with our Dorset Mind Works Packages or in isolation. Additionally, it provides all attendees with a deeper insight and understanding of mental health.
As an approved Mental Health First Aid Instructor Member, we offer an online evidence-based interactive digital learning course that helps to raise awareness and develop skills. Our course empowers people to notice signs of mental ill health, and encourage them to break down barriers, listen in a non-judgemental way, and signpost to support for recovery.

“I have been struck by the amount of knowledge and awareness I have gained over the 4 sessions and the number of areas of MH I have not experienced. Beth has been an excellent trainer who has guided the group through the complexities of the subject matter with calmness and empathy.”

“I really enjoyed the course. The style and delivery online really worked for me and I found that it was good to workwith others. There was a nice mix of people with varying degrees of experience from me with very little, to others who have worked in mental health and I found that really helpful in the learning process alongside the content.”
