On Sunday 1st October TeamMindBMX hosted their end of season autumn charity fundraiser. The event itself was a fun-packed day full of amazing races, even if we did have to dodge the rain…
Alongside the races there were TWO big raffles at the event with some fantastic prizes on offer. One raffle had an extensive selection of prizes that included tickets to GoApe, A BMX bike and a KitBrix pack, to name a few. The second raffle included a highly-prized USA Olympic shirt actually signed by the USA Olympic BMX team!
Massive thank you for all the money raised
To reflect the dedicated efforts of TeamMindBMX they raised an incredible
£2,673.80! This is a
HUGE amount for us to receive – especially from one event alone…
We’d like to say a
special thanks to John Twitchen, Team Manager and
Caroline Enger who organise the charity day – they do it so well. Running alongside mental health and his love of BMX riding, John is keen to encourage recycling. So all waste was carefully disposed, and hot drink refills were rewarded with a discount. It’s a really
healthy example that TeamMindBMX sets, we’re in complete awe of them.
TeamMindBMX’s donation will go towards our
Youth Services, which we intend to launch by the end of the year –
so watch this space!
