Scott has recently joined the Active Monitoring Team and will be supporting GP Surgeries in Poole. Scott is responsible for working with clients struggling with mild to moderate anxiety, depression, stress, isolation, self-esteem and grief and loss. 

He has completed his undergraduate degree in Psychology with Counselling and would like to eventually become a qualified counsellor. Scott has previously supported clients with mental health issues and learning disabilities. He’s had various roles including as a support worker, a carer and as an employment coach. Scott is a big supporter of using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy as a therapeutic approach. 

Scott is an advocate for getting outdoors to aid mental health. He is a keen hiker and trail runner. He loves charity fundraising challenges. In December 2020 completed the Step up Challenge raising money for Dorset Mind. He will also be completing a 100km Ultra Challenge across the Jurassic Coast for us at the end of May. Scott is an avid AFC Bournemouth fan. Up the Cherries!
