Liz is an experienced Operations Director across the health and social care sector, striving to represent adults and children inclusively in her roles and network.
Liz has a wealth of experience across operations and business. Previous roles include commercial development within large national charities, such as Operations Director for Action for Children, who provide support for children and families from early years. This focused on post trauma services, family support and evidence-based programme. She was also Head of Childline, the national counselling and listening service for children and young people.
Liz is currently a self-employed consultant and mentor for individuals and businesses – specifically charities/not for profits. She supports the development of performance and strategy to ensure reaching additional outcomes for beneficiaries through profiling, behaviour psychology, coaching and transformational leadership.
A keen advocate for Dorset Mind, Liz raises money and awareness where she can, and has other board roles locally.
At home, Liz has three children aged 10,11 and 15 – two dogs (who feature on our Teams board meetings) and supports online communities of practice for local businesses and families.
