Jim is the Team Leader for our Active Monitoring and Counselling programme. Passionate about evidence-based medicine, Jim spent most of his career taking short contract in NHS services that needed help to hit their targets. He decided to study for a PhD. It evidenced that feeling socially connected is essential for most people’s wellbeing. Jim joined Dorset Mind to help launch the Active Monitoring programme he delivers in Weymouth and Portland. He describes it as a dream opportunity; to build a service out of the best bits of the services he’s been part of.
If you see Jim outside of work, then you are probably hiking around rural Dorset. That’s where he likes to be whenever he can.
