Wellbeing in Mind Support Group – Dorchester

Wellbeing in Mind is a fortnightly peer Support group for anyone aged 18+ who want to develop positive mental health and wellbeing. The group’s focus is to reduce stigma and provide a positive, safe and welcoming environment where talking about mental health is completely natural. We educate people about common mental health issues, how to spot the signs as well as experiencing new and  healthy ways of coping. Each session can be attended on a drop-in basis and each person is encouraged to participate as much or as little as they would like.

When: Second and Fourth Tuesday of every month from 7 – 9pm
Where: Age UK, Rowan Cottage, Dorchester

Wellbeing in Mind Support Group – Sherborne

Wellbeing in Mind is a fortnightly peer Support group for anyone aged 18+ who want to develop positive mental health and wellbeing. The group’s focus is to reduce stigma and provide a safe and welcoming environment where talking about mental health is completely natural. We educate people about common mental health issues, how to spot the signs and symptoms as well as giving opportunity to experience new and  healthy ways of coping. Each can be attended on a drop-in basis and each person is encouraged to participate as much or as little as they would like.

When: First and Third Tuesday of every month from 6.30-8.30pm
Where: Costa Coffee, Cheap Street, Sherborne

MindOut LGBTQ Support Group

MindOut is a safe, fun, confidential and accepting space for LGBTQ people who would like to develop positive mental health and wellbeing. Group workshops address many of the impacts and unique challenges experienced with identifying as an LGBT+ person in a heteronormative society. The group welcomes anyone who is not ‘out’ or anyone who is in the early stages of exploring their gender or sexual identity. 

When:  First and Third Friday of month, between 2pm – 4pm
