More about Allison Blaes and Sharing Space
is broadcast every Monday at 21:00 on BIRSt Radio.
The main aim of this programme is to start a conversation about mental health within the safe confines of radio. The intention is that listeners will then continue the conversation out in the real world.
Each time a conversation about mental health is discussed, its one step closer to ending stigma around the subject.
Previous programme topics have featured people sharing their personal mental health journeys, and what they’re doing as a result to raise awareness.
Allison Blaes is a Radio Production Masters student at Bournemouth University. She is a managing team member of internet radio station BIRSt.co.uk. She also presents a daytime show on Nerve Radio.
