To support The GAP Project- which provides a safe, welcoming non-judgemental wellbeing ecotherapy service. The service aims to support people to develop positive mental health through meaningful and therapeutic ecotherapy.
There will be a variety of hourly sessions held throughout the week where service users and volunteers will undertake upkeep of the allotment and fruit and vegetable production as well as future planning and creation of an ecotherapy sensory garden.
We can be flexible around your home and work commitments but would require a minimum 6-week commitment for each campaign we run. The first starts at the beginning of August and ideally you will have completed the Dorset Mind volunteer training online prior to starting in August, this is vital for safeguarding onsite.
The GAP Project will follow government guidelines to ensure the safety of volunteers and participants with regards to Covid-19.
