Main Purpose:

Are you aged under 25 years old? Do you have a passion for helping others and challenging perceptions about mental health? Are you driven by the idea of ending stigma and discrimination? Are you looking for an exciting sense of purpose, personal growth, and an opportunity to make an important contribution to society? If this sounds like you, then we have an exciting opportunity to get involved with.

As a Young Ambassador, you will be the face of the young people’s branch of Dorset Mind, Dorset Mind Your Head. The aim of this role is to raise awareness about our Children and Young People’s programmes, speak publicly about mental health, fundraise, and importantly act as our valued representative to the wider community.

You will be working closely with our marketing team to learn how best to be the face of Dorset Mind, and use online and social media platforms to their fullest advantage. It will also be your task to help us design our services and projects to deliver to young people, participate in range of events, as well as actively collaborate to help shape the agenda for our ambassador programme.

We are looking for compassionate, caring, trustworthy, reliable, and passionate young people. Do you have what it takes to join our movement?
