The Board of Trustees of Dorset Mind are seeking a person with exceptional discretion and organisational skills to join them as the Clerk to the Trustees and Administration Assistant.
The post holder will have experience in a similar role, preferably in a charity setting and be able to record minutes of meetings and communicate them with senior members of the charity. They will have a track record in working independently adhering to strict professional boundaries in an administrative support capacity. The Clerk to the Trustees is required to attend evening Trustee meetings once a month as well as to coordinate other committee meetings and Trustee commitments. They will support the Business Manager in collating papers, data and other resources for Trustee meetings and liaise both internally and externally with individuals and other organisations to assist the Trustees to undertake their functions effectively.
