Dorset Mind are offering ‘Walk and Talk’ sessions for residents to explore their local area, get active, connect with others and improve their overall wellbeing. Being active can help to reduce stress levels, increase confidence, provide a sense of achievement and improve our mood so we feel more positive.

Walking is one of the most effective activities we can do to experience the benefits of taking part in gentle exercise. It also provides the opportunity to be outdoors and take in some of the amazing scenery in our local area! Spending time outside also allows us to take notice of our surroundings and connect with nature. This in turn can help us to be present, focus on something positive and feel calmer.

So, why not join our Walk and Talk sessions to explore your local area, get active and connect with others in a friendly and welcoming group?
