AtaLoss.org aims to ensure that people in the UK affected by bereavement can access support. They have online resources to help people find support and have a range of resources which help people cope with bereavement. They currently have a range of projects which support people of different ages.
Babyloss
The Babyloss website supports anyone affected by the death of a baby during pregnancy, at birth or shortly afterwards. The website provides information regarding available support organisations for parents, their families and friends.
Bereavement Advice Centre
The Bereavement Advice Centre is a free helpline and web-based service. The service supports and advises people on what they need to do after a death. On their website there is a variety of information regarding practical issues that occur after a death.
Childhood Bereavement Network
The Childhood Bereavement Network supports people working with bereaved children, young people and their families to improve bereavement care for children. The network supports bereaved children through advocating. There is a range of information on their website about their campaign work, help around a death for young people, parents and carers and schools and professionals and research priorities regarding the impact of bereavement in childhood.
Child Death Helpline
The Child Death Helpline is a confidential helpline for people who have been affected by a child’s death. Trained volunteers who have been in the same situation answer calls.

Cruse Bereavement Care
Cruse Bereavement Care is a national charity for bereaved people which offers confidential and free support, advice and information. Support is available face-to-face, over the telephone and online. Trained bereavement volunteers staff the helpline and provide emotional support for people affected by bereavement.

Grief Encounter
Grief Encounter aims to support children affected by bereavement. They provide a range of services for children, young people and their families.
You can call their helpline on 0808 802 0111 Mon-Fri 9am-9pm, or you can email them at grieftalk@griefencounter.org.uk.
Grief Encounter also provides specialist resources which are available for registered families. This includes specially created Grief Relief Kits which were designed by their highly qualified clinical team, and helps children grieve. E-Counselling services are also available for young people. Mosaic
Mosaic is a Dorset-based charity which supports children, young people and their families who are bereaved or facing bereavement. Mosaic offers residential camps which allows children to share their experiences.
Samaritans
Samaritans is available round the clock, every single day of the year. You can talk to them any time you like in your own way and off the record, about whatever’s getting to you.

SOBS
Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide is a self-help organisation which aims to provide a confidential environment for bereaved people aged over 18 to share their experiences and gain support. SOBS offers local support groups, a confidential helpline and also email support.
Call their national helpline on 0300 111 5065 for confidential support. The majority of the helpline is staffed by volunteers who have been bereaved by suicide. The helpline is open 9am to 5pm Monday and Tuesday.

The Bereavement Services Portal
The Bereavement Services Portal is a useful website which provides a range of information regarding practical issues after a death. Information is provided on a range of areas including funeral planning, funeral directors and memorials.
WAY – Widowed & Young
WAY is a national charity for people aged 50 or under when their partner died. The peer support group is run by a volunteer network which provides practical and emotional support.
Widowed Young Support
Widowed Young Support is a service provided by Care For the Family. The service aims to listen and support people who have lost their partner or spouse. Support is available for people aged 50 and younger, or aged 50+ with dependent children.

Winston’s Wish
Winston’s Wish was the first children’s bereavement charity in the UK. Winston’s Wish provides specialist support for bereaved children.
