Mind Blue Light Support Group Facilitator (Dorset)

Dorset Mind are looking for experienced Support Group Facilitators for Mind Blue Light Emergency Worker Wellbeing Support Groups. This is for three separate groups throughout Dorset.

The post is for a fixed term contract of 5 hours a fortnight for up to a year (per group). Being a qualified counsellor and having experience of working within the Mental Health Sector, the Post-holder will be passionate about reducing stigma and normalising conversations about Mental Health. They should be able to deliver psycho-education about how to cope with Stress, Anxiety and Depressive Conditions, develop resilience and identify ways of coping and developing positive mental health.

The Postholder should have direct experience of or be passionate about our Blue Light front line emergency services. They must be a car owner willing to travel throughout Dorset.

Only people with a minimum of 8 hours counselling people experiencing Trauma and Dissociation Training, and two years post-qualification counselling experience need apply.
