Dorset Mind is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to help us expand and deliver our ‘Dorset Mind Your Head’ Children and Young People’s service across Dorset.

The post holder will co-ordinate various services within the Dorset Mind Your Head project. They will be responsible for developing relationships, both with professional bodies and volunteers to ensure the smooth and effective running of the programme.

Under the direction of the CYP project Manager they will be responsible for ensuring clear and ongoing communications with relevant organisations. This includes schools, higher education, youth groups, CAMHS, the voluntary and community sector and the county and local councils.

They will also be responsible for regular communications with staff and volunteers so that interventions are delivered successfully and competently. They will also be required, from time to time, to deliver interventions (such as assemblies, workshops, talks, group work) wherever necessary.

Candidates for this post will need to be able to demonstrate their success in co-ordinating previous projects.  Exceptional communication  and their ability to juggle multiple work priorities are essential skills.

The post will be mainly based at our Bournemouth office with flexible home-working to allow for travel across the county.  As such the ideal candidate will need to able to work autonomously, travel extensively, build long term relationships with stakeholders and contribute positively to development of the organisation.

The post is for 22.5 hours per week on a fixed term annual contract
