Meet an amazing man, Daniel Moors…
Throughout this year, Daniel has set himself a very special target – to run 1,000 miles for mental health. Not only that, Daniel has added an unusual element – that the elevation of the distance he runs must be equivalent to the height of Everest!
Daniel’s total distance will consist of his training and participation in various running events throughout the year.
1,000 miles endurance
Daniel started fundraising back in February, having not long completed the
Lytchett 10 miles. This took his total to 125 miles and 4337 ft. elevation for the year, including training.
Since then, Daniel has ran the
Silverstone Half Marathon (13.1 miles) on 12th March.
His mileage stands currently at 183.1, with a 5,790 feet climb…
The numbers are really stacking up – Daniel got in touch with us today, so that we can share his JustGiving page. We also like to think that we can help support him as he helps us – with plenty of words of encouragement along the way.
If you’d like to sponsor Daniel, please just follow this link – it’s an amazing challenge. You can also follow his progress and find an update of his totals on his page too.
