Dorset Mind's very own Christmas Single…

Come to the exciting LAUNCH of the BRAND NEW Dorset Mind Christmas Single… calvin-and-stacey-recordingOur incredibly talented ambassador Calvin Glen has written and performed a brilliant new single about mental health at Christmas.  Another of our accomplished ambassadors, Stacey Mumford has also contributed stunning vocals for the record.  The image to the left shows the pair having fun recording the track. And not stopping at just a single, Calvin has persuaded many of his song-writer friends to appear on an album.  Both the single and album will be available on iTunes once released (keep an eye on our Facebook page for the announcement). We would like to specially thank Matt Black of Hangover Hill Recording Studio, who has helped Calvin to record the single.

Details of the launch – a festive affair…

We are very proud to support Calvin as he launches the record and album over two days.  The single launch on Friday will be in the form of a musical spectacular featuring some of the performers that appear on the album.  PLUS Calvin and Stacey will sing the first-ever performance of the new single ‘Christmas on your Mind’. In addition to the Christmas Bazaar and musical performances on Saturday, you can expect to see Street Magic, Dance, a Raffle, Games and prizes. Dorset Mind will be at the Bazaar to raise awareness of mental health especially at Christmas time. We would like to thank Winton Liberal Club, who have kindly donated the venue for free and waived the non-membership fee for the event.  An alcohol license is in place for the event for the over 18s, please drink sensibly.
