A new Charity Partnership with Purbeck Golf Club

We are delighted to announce a new charity partnership.  Purbeck Golf Club have chosen us as their charity of the year – for both the men’s and women’s teams.

The Isle of Purbeck Golf Club

Club Captain’s Tim and Mel have plans to fundraise throughout 2018.  The club captain’s chose to support Dorset Mind as they realise how poor mental health affects young people. You can find Purbeck Golf Club on the back road to Corfe from Studland with a superb view over Poole Harbour.  This August the club celebrated their 125th Anniversary.

Golf and mental health

Did you know that a round of golf is very beneficial to physical AND mental health? Exposure to sunshine and the outdoors combines with the camaraderie found back in the clubhouse.  The physical aspects of golf could also help reduce the risk of anxiety and depression.
