New for 2018 – the first-ever FlowerFest!

In 2018 Christchurch is hosting the inaugural year of FlowerFest.  This is a festival created from flowers which takes its inspiration from the annual flower festival in Girona, Spain. Local retailers will showcase their ideas and creativity in displaying flowers. You will see displays ranging from small potted plant to elaborate window presentations.

FlowerFest and Mental Health

By working with flowers, nature and gardening it increases our levels of serotonin which in turn increases your happiness. By highlighting this FlowerFest wants to help improve people’s mental health. Local Mental Health and Wellbeing charities and organisations will have the chance to showcase the work they do in the area.  Each organisation will have a designated area in Saxon Square.
