TeamMindBMX Charity Race Day – combining racing with mental health
TeamMindBMX are holding a very special charity fundraiser at the end of the season this Sunday. It’s billed as ‘a day of BMX racing, freestyle and fun for all the family.’ Over one hundred riders are expected to take part in the race day.

On the day there will be plenty to see and do. Cycle checks, security checking, wellbeing and trade stands including food stalls of course! There will also be a Raffle and Auction, featuring rare items donated by the best of BMX past and present.
Among the races, bike demos and Freestyle categories, there will also be the opportunity to find out more about mental health and wellbeing. Dorset Mind will be attending the event, raising awareness of the support services and training we deliver.
Bournemouth BMX Club
Bournemouth BMX Club are hosting the event. It’s the only race track facility in Dorset AND one of the oldest in the UK!
The track is located just off Iford Lane, Bournemouth. It’s behind the public car park which is adjacent to the rugby and football pitches. Bournemouth BMX Club have been based there since 1981, and some of the original riders are still involved with the club.

Time: 10am to 4pm
Place: Bournemouth BMX Club – just off Iford Lane, Bournemouth, BH6.
Cost: Spectating is FREE, Various race entries – £5-£7.50.
