The competition is simple: Students have been briefed to submit up to 10 designs for merchandise that are available to purchase via Dorset Mind’s Spreadshop store, which you can view here.
The chosen design theme is ‘good vibes’ – Crowd and Dorset Mind were keen to keep the topic upbeat – and inspirational.
The top-selling designer will win the exclusive prize – and any profit will help us support local people’s mental health.
Crowd CEO Jamie Sergeant was keen to work with the students at AUB, as that was where Crowd was founded in 2012! Collaborating with AUB gives Crowd the opportunity to spot up-and-coming talent whilst also forming close partnerships in the academic sector.
Students will also benefit from a project that helps them engage with their target audience in an interactive way and give them experience of monetizing their content. The creator economy is set to grow by 92% over the next five years, so this will help young designers build their following and establish their branding.
Massive thanks as always to the brilliant team at Crowd for their continued support – we can’t wait to see who wins!
