On Wednesday 10th May, Poole Bay Rotary are holding their 16th annual Toddlethon in Poole Park. The ‘”toddle” is open to pre-school and nursery groups, child-minders and families.
What is a ‘Toddlethon’?
Children are sponsored by friends and family to “toddle” (walk, cycle, pushed in buggies) once around the cricket pitch on the cycle track.
As a special ‘thank you’ to all children who take place, there will be FREE juice and biscuits afterwards, plus children’s entertainment from Count Backwards.
Poole Bay ‘Toddlethon’ – fundraising for 15 years…
It’s Poole Bay Rotary’s chance to fundraise for four amazing children-related charities – one being us! Our donation will go towards establishing our Youth Services.
We shall be at the event – as part of our Mental Health Awareness Week activities. You can follow our Facebook or Twitter page for up-to-date reports from this fun event. You can also search online using the hashtag #MHAW17Dorset.
The other charities chosen by Poole Bay to support are: Home-Start South East Dorset, Life Education Wessex, and International Polio Eradication (that ALL Rotary Clubs support). To find out more about the charities, please follow their links.
