Angel Carers are registered providers of care which provide a range of care services including live-in care, domiciliary care, respite care, prevention of hospital admission, hospital discharge care and waking/sleep in night care.

Dorset Parent-Carer Council

Dorset Parent-Carer Council aims to improve the life and opportunities for families, children and  young people with additional needs or disabilities. Dorset Parent-Carer Council provides many consultation and  working and steering groups. They also provide the use of beach huts for Dorset Parent-Carer Council members.

mylifemycare

mylifemycare provides a wealth of information and advice about care and support for adults in Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole.

Crisp

CRISP (Carers resource, information, support programme) supports carers in Dorset. Help, advice and support is provided as well as information regarding breaks for carers. CRISP also provides a drop-in session for carers in their carers centre

Making Space

Making Space is a national charity and provider of health and social care services. Making Space supports adults with a range of conditions including mental health conditions, learning disabilities, dementia and older people with age-related concerns. A range of services are available including care and support at home, community-based services and specialist services.

Nashics

The National Association for Safety and Health in Care Services (Nashics) works to promote excellence of safety and health in care services.

Carers UK

Carers UK provides expert advice, information and support for carers in the UK . Carers UK also campaigns to make life better for carers and is the only national membership charity for carers in the UK.

Carers Trust

The Carers Trust strives to improve support, services and recognition for people who work as carers unpaid. Information about a range of topics and independent local services are also provided.

Care England

Care England is a registered charity which works to represent independent care providers.

CareAware UK

CareAware UK provides free advice on care fee funding for older people. Care Aware is an advisory and advocacy service, which focusses on elderly care funding advice.

Christchurch Care

Christchurch Care supports care homes, national charities and supported living. It is a family run specialist agency which aims to provide recruitment packages of professional standards to local health care providers.

My Time 

My Time works to support young carers across the South. My Time makes it possible for young carers to have a break and balance their mental and physical wellbeing. The charity provides respite adventure breaks in a residential outdoor centre in the Isle of Purbeck.

Community First – New Forest Young Carers Project 

The New Forest Young Carers Project at Community First provides support for young carers across the New Forest. Support available includes one-to-one work, school support, trips and activities and signposting to helpful services and organisations.

The Children’s Society – Include Programme

The Include Programme as part of The Children’s Society has a range of national and local programmes to support young carers. There are a number of complementary areas of work including the “Making a step change” programme, the “Young carers in focus” programme and the “Young carers in Schools” programme. A variety of information an resources for professionals are also available.
