The Digital Innovation Show took place earlier this week, and Dorset Mind were lucky to be the only charity with a presence.
The show ran a series of presentations and workshops for Bournemouth’s digital community on a variety of topics. These included branding, nurturing leads – and mental health, courtesy of Dan Willis, Strategy Consultant for Why Digital.
We’re working with Dan on a number of projects for our planned Youth Mental Health Services. Dan gave a superb presentation about his bipolar condition – and how he copes with it. Dealing with his mental health challenge in a positive way contributes to the success of his business.
There was also a number of trade stalls that took part at the O2. We were able to network and spread mental health awareness throughout the day.
The Digital Innovation Show…
Gemma Dare, founder of the show and Mintsource Events was encouraged to receive excellent feedback. She promises that the show will be back ‘bigger and better’ next year.
